RS485 Stepper Drivers for Networked Automation

For higher voltage and current needs, the ROL3480-R RS485 driver accepts DC or AC power and reaches 8A peak current. Moreover, it provides internal position and speed segments, homing, JOG and absolute or relative positioning.

Closed-loop applications can use the RCL2350-R closed-loop driver or the higher-power RCL3480-R. Encoder feedback helps the system monitor position and respond to changing loads.

Dual-Axis Control and System Selection

The RCL2350-R2A dual-axis driver controls two closed-loop motors from one unit. Consequently, it can reduce cabinet space and simplify multi-axis machine design.

These drivers suit packaging equipment, CNC machines, laser systems and automated assembly lines. Before selecting a model, compare the supply voltage, peak current and motor size. Also confirm the loop type, axis count, baud rate and station settings.
